I think if Rockstar wanted to prevent us from sharing saves, they would of done it.One of many reasons I primarily play games on PC is the option to cheat in single player games.) I don't think they'd ban you from Online either as long as you aren't cheating in Online mode. I don't think Rockstar will ban you from single player for cheating in single player.I've only heard of that on Xbox because Microsoft takes their achievement stuff so seriously. Edited Apby Samutzĭo we risk anything like getting banned or not getting achievements, or getting them while we shouldn't because the missions have been completed but we didn't complete them, I feel it could be a cheat way to achievements, hope its not the case. Like save files, their format is specific to the game. They can be converted to normal JPEGs by removing the first 292 bytes with a hex editor and adding. They are 960x536 JPEGs with an extra 292 bytes added the the beginning of the file (header information used by the game and RGSC). PGTA files are your saved Snapmatic photos.
Saves from the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, and Playstation 4 versions of the game are not compatible with the PC version.Īlso possibly worth mentioning, from the same folder: Your online characters and progress are saved to Rockstar's servers, not your computer, and cannot be shared or edited. If someone hasn't posted a 100% save by then, I will post mine. I plan to play to 100% myself, although it won't be a perfect no death, all gold medal run.
Story missions completed (61.1%) by tigertoddy2008 So SGTA50000 is slot 1, SGTA50001 is slot 2, etc. Saves are numbered by their slot number minus 1, up to 16 slot (slot 16 is the autosave slot). Save files are located in the folder C:\Users\ \Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles\ \ and begin with SGTA5. I would also like some saves from other users to compare with. If a few users could please download this save and let me know if it loads, I would appreciate it: I'm looking for a few users to share save files with to see if they're locked to our profiles (like GTA 4 with GFWL) or free to share (like GTA 3, VC, and SA).
